Second Stage Round 7: Metros - Marineros 108-99

LNB top team -Metros (13-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Marineros (9-12) in Santiago 108-99 . Metros players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. It was a great evening for Jhery Matos (196-1996, college: Charlotte) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Juan Guerrero (203-1993) helped adding 28 points and 6 rebounds. Four Metros players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Sydney Curry (203-2000, college: GCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (on 19-of-22 shooting from the field) and forward LJ Figueroa (198-1998, college: Oregon) scored 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Metros maintains first place with 13-8 record. Marineros lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost.
